Kelly Rowland will make $1 million and Rubio will make $1.5 million for Rubio, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Last season X Factor lost 20 percent of its 18-to-49 audience, with ad revenue dropping from $502 million in year one to $386 million in 2012, according to Kantar Media.

It’s believed Demi Lovato asked for double her fee (About $1 million) after her well-received debut on the show: 'Salaries are all over the place because ratings are all over the place.'

Via Billboard: At No. 3 on the Billboard 200 is the third and final debut in the top 10: Demi Lovato's 'Demi.' The singer/actress' fourth album is her fourth straight set to debut in the top four, and it scores her best sales week yet (110,000). 2011's 'Unbroken,' started at No. 4 with 96,000.

She previously opened at No. 1 with her sophomore set, 'Here We Go Again,' in 2009 (108,000 in its debut). Her first album, 2008's 'Don't Forget,' debuted and peaked at No. 2 off an 89,000 launch.

Do YOU think X-Factor will be more popular this year?

Demi Lovato is going to have her tonsils out this winter: 'Actually, this (northern hemisphere) summer I have to get my tonsils out.. I'm not sure if this year is the best opportunity to [tour] because X Factor keeps me so busy. I'm gonna do it without painkillers, though, 'cause I'm a boss. I say that now.'

Demi has advice for rising star Zendaya Coleman and Ariana Grande: 'For her and a lot of other girls, I've become close with Fifth Harmony and I think Zendaya Coleman is so talented and beautiful, they have these long careers ahead of them. My advice would just be to not let anything get you jaded. Just really appreciate. Be thankful for everything.

With Ariana & Fifth Harmony, they have this energy about them that's so refreshing. And it's like, never let that go. Cuz I let it go, and now fortunately, I got it back, which some people don't get. But it's when you let it go of that that you start not enjoying this madness. And you start spiraling.'

We were in a relationship and we broke up, and at one point, I was really mad at him. Now, I can, fortunately, say, that him, and his brother Nick, have always been there for me, and are literally family, and like brothers.. we have a great friendship. And we may not be as close as we used to be, but that's OK."

'Not only does it draw up different emotions because there are songs about heartbreak and there are songs of just wanting to hook up. And you never want the person you wrote about to hear that song and feel bad. I never want that to happen. But at the same time, it's coming from a personal experience, and if it turns out to be a great song and you're like, 'Well, sorry.'

There are songs that are pretty self-explanatory on this album and when I played those songs in front of other people I almost felt, like, naked," Lovato said. "There were several times I had to leave the room. 'Shouldn't Come Back' was one track she had a particularly hard time laying down the vocals for, as it brought to light so many different emotions. And as it turns out, parts of the song were improv.

I was sobbing because it was built-up emotion that I was finally getting to release in music. And there was a turning point in the song, it was originally about one thing and then ..I just kind of freestyled the lyrics and I just changed the song completely. And my producers were like 'Woah, that just got heavy.' Songwriting is like taking your top off.'
