From Carrie: Selena seemed so happy and cheerful at her show in Philly on Valentine's Day. She handed out roses, and had her stepdad hand them out in the upper level, saying that she was so thankful that we chose to spend Valentine's Day with her, and that she wouldn't have wanted to spend it with anyone else. She gave her normal speech before I Won't Apologize saying,
..'everything was in the past'. Before The Way I Loved You, she talked about how it had been really hard for her to sing that song when she had to record it because it was so emotional for her. She missed the beginning of Naturally because she was distracted by someone in the front row holding up a sign saying it was their birthday, so she laughed and asked her band to start again.
Afterwards, she got in a Suburban to drive away, but once the car pulled out of the parking lot and she noticed all of the people waiting for her, she got out and handed out some more roses. She was super sweet, and made sure that she walked around the entirety of the crowd, before getting back in the car. Vid under!

Selena Gomez recently chatted with the California Chronicle: 'I grew up an only child, so I pretty much had to entertain myself, so I would constantly perform. I would sing and I would dance and I would act in, like, my living room.' Disney had her sing at her 2004 audition: 'I think they were very well aware that I loved music. It was all about when I was ready, I think. And, you know, they take care of their kids and they really are a blessing to work with. So they had a big part in helping me get to my music.'
On Nick Jonas & The Administration Tower concert: 'They're incredible. It was an incredible show.' She quickly clarified she saw him in Texas, not at the Tower. On rumored relationship with Nick Jonas: 'He's a really nice guy and he's always been a really good friend in my life. So I'm just happy to have him back as a good friend.'
Fourth season of Wizards of Waverly Place? 'There are talks about it; I would hope so. I think the show is doing really well right now and we're all very happy and comfortable being there.' Sel conceded life is 'very hectic, but I definitely feel like one of the luckiest girls in the world, and I love every single thing that I'm doing. So yes, it at times is a lot, but it's a lot of what I love.'
If Selena was forced to choose between acting & music? 'I would like to continue music, but I have a feeling that acting is always going to have a more special place in my heart. So I feel like that's going to end up taking over. But right now, I'm too obsessed with music.'
Selena Gomez Mall Concert FANS Injured

Five people were injured today during Selena Gomez's Emerald Square Mall appearance, according to North Attleborough Police. Police and firefighters arrived at the Emerald Square Mall shortly after 4 PM when an escalator stopped short, flinging some people backwards.
Five people were treated for minor injuries, three of who were transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Fire Lieutenant Jeffery Badger said. The tragic incident took place during a question and answer session by Selena. A thorough investigation of the cause of the escalator defect will be conducted Tuesday, overcrowding is a possible cause.
From Kerri: After the concert about 50 people came out to see Selena, we got kicked to the sidewalks by security, and she finally came out. I think she may have been shocked with the amount of people still outside she stopped and waved for a while. She rolled down her car window and was hanging out the window waving and thanking everyone. Out of Miley, Demi and Selena, I honestly would have to say Selena was the nicest Disney princess that I have met.

Selena G, 'My Fans Will Be My Valentines'

Do YOU think Nick Jonas will go support Sel? On V-Day: 'I have a show in Philadelphia, so I'm kind of excited. My fans will be my valentine, which is fine by me. And I'm really happy. I'm actually glad people are coming to the show, 'cause it's Valentine's Day.. so hopefully I'll enjoy a good show with my fans.'
We have a lot of confetti, and I made sure it was pink and silver and stuff that's very Valentine's Day-esque. But other than that, I think it's going to be an awesome show to be able to celebrate with my fans.
Three years ago Sel spent Valentine's Day with her boyfriend: 'I went to Houston one year, and it was really cute. I was probably, like, 14, and I got to go out to dinner. We went to Spaghetti Warehouse, and it was really fun, and at 14, it was a big deal for me. Other than that, I haven't had too many great Valentine's Day memories.'
