Selena Gomez and the cast of Wizards Of Waverly Place will attend the 2nd Annual Multicultural Harmony Gala at Pickwick Gardens in Burbank on March 13. The event will raise funds for the Multicultural Learning Center, a bilingual (Spanish/English) charter school in the San Fernando Valley.
Event organizer said: 'I created this event to bring awareness to bilingual education by celebrating and uniting our diverse community through our children’s education. These bilingual children are the future of America, and they are learning to be global citizens through language education. I am very proud that my son Adrian attends this magnificent school!'
Celebrity guests will include Alexa Vega, Asher Book, Jessie Garcia, Madisen Beaty, Kyle Kaplan. The event takes place today at Pickwick Gardens, 1001 West Riverside Drive, Burbank, CA 91506. Red carpet arrivals, VIP reception and silent auction begin at 6:30 PM, with presentations at 8:00 PM.

Wilmer Valderrama, 30, who will play Selena Gomez’s uncle for an episode of Wizards of Waverly Place, chatted with Hollywood Life about her: 'I met Selena many years ago when she was about to launch the show, and when [Wizard producers] told me the role was on Selena’s show, I said ‘of course!’
I became Selena’s honorary older brother and it’s been really great, I keep in touch with the kids, they call me Uncle Ernesto! I don’t give Selena any relationship advice, but watch out; [boys], Selena is a force to be reckoned with!'
