Joe Jonas Metro interview: Is the single about dumping Taylor Swift? No. That’s not about her. When I write songs I don’t say who they are about because I don’t want the audience to relate to what was going on with me when I wrote it. You say one thing and it becomes a big rumour.
What to expect from the album? A lot of the songs speak about going through the good and bad of relationships and everything I’ve been through for the past 18 months, the touring and the travelling. It’s everything from hip hop to a bit of dancey stuff: a lot of different styles. How’s the solo career going?
I’m really enjoying it. It’s a fun ride. And it’s a whole new experience. I see good things coming from my work, which is a great feeling. Joe told Ryan Seacrest he doesn't have Rihanna's phone number. Another interview, it never ends, talk about them not breaking up: 'I grew out of [certain] music when I was younger, and I’m not saying that all of our fans grew out of us,
..some don’t want to listen to the Jonas Brothers anymore. I get it, I was there.. I want to be able to work with artists and producers who were ahead of the trend and [who] I listen to. Music is so great, because if John Mayer came out with a hip-hop record or a dance record,
It would probably be acceptable because music is the one thing where you can do whatever you want. Kanye West is the prime example. My favourite record of his is the ’808′ record because he sings the whole time. And that’s not usually what he does, but music’s open for anyone to do that.'
