Taylor Swift Low Magazine Cover Sales?
'22' music video direction Taylor Swift: '[And what] I'm hoping is that this is the first moment in a new chapter for Taylor, that this is a left turn on her path that will lead to new and different things ..it will give her the confidence and power to do different things, to be able to broaden and take her fanbase on a journey that's unexpected. According to WWD Taylor on the cover of magazine's leads to low sales: For Vogue, Swift sold 329,371 copies, digital sales included, which was a little above the six-month average that ended in June 2012, but no match for Lady Gaga, the magazine’s top seller last year, with about 602,000 copies.
Or for that matter, Adele, the second-best seller with 410,343. All numbers come from the publisher’s statements to the Alliance for Audited Media, which may change slightly after they’re audited. Swift did OK for Glamour in November, but with a little over 443,000 copies, she couldn’t beat reality TV star Lauren Conrad in May who was the year’s runaway best-seller (a little over 500,000), or designer and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham in September (about 482,000).
Swift sold 138,412 copies of Harper's Bazaar, a little above the average for the period, but far below Gwen Stefani’s September (166,365). She had already been booked for Cosmo’s December cover when Joanna Coles came on as editor in chief of the sex-and-makeup monthly. Swift flopped, with the issue the weakest in a year that underperformed overall, she sold a little over a million copies, or 20% below the six-month average that ended in December 2012.
Swift was even outsold by actress Zooey Deschanel, who took the dubious honor of having the year’s second-worst seller. What worked for Cosmo? Scarlett Johansson took the top prize, with 1.5 million copies, but the August cover with Ashley Greene was ranked second, selling about 1.4 million.
Taylor Swift Fan Letters Thrown Away
Via WKRN. Hundreds of letters addressed to Taylor Swift were discovered in a south Nashville recycling dumpster over the weekend. The letters, many of which were unopened, were found by Kylee Francescan who was disposing of her own items at the dumpster at Granberry School, located off of Old Hickory Boulevard. 'I was like, ‘That's weird,' There were like hundreds of letters in there to Taylor Swift and I'm like, ‘Oh my gosh!' I didn't know if they were stolen [or] discarded, so I threw them in a box. And I'm like, ‘Somebody needs to let Taylor know.''
Many of the letters, which were from all over the world, were covered with pictures, hearts and sparkles were addressed to Taylor Swift Entertainment, a P.O. Box located at a strip mall at 242 West Main Street in Hendersonville. The owner of the strip mall told Nashville's News 2 Investigates Swift does receive box loads of fan mail at the P.O. Box and that someone from the country singer's staff picks up the mail periodically.
Francescan told Nashville's News 2 Investigates she did not open any of the letters. She added that she decided to contact News 2 because she through Swift would want to know about the discarded letters. 'It did bother me [because] I know how much her fans mean to her.' On Monday, Nashville's News 2's Andy Cordan took the letters to Swift's record label, Big Machine Records on Music Row. A man at the record company said he is unsure why the letters were in the dumpster. Nashville's News 2 Investigates reached out to Swift's management team who said in a release they were unaware of the fan mail, but a spokesperson said they were very concerned about the matter.
Spokesman: 'Taylor gets thousands of fan letters everyday and they are delivered to her management office. After the letters are opened and read, they are recycled. The only explanation for any letters being unopened would be that a small batch of mail that was supposed to be delivered to Taylor was accidentally put with letters headed for the recycling center. We sincerely appreciate Channel 2 bringing this to our attention, and we plan to immediately pick up the mail.' The letters have since been given to a messenger from Swift's public relations firm. The letters will be handled appropriately.

Her Dad wrote: 'First off, I know word has already started to spread, but for those of you who haven’t heard, Taylor Swift did come to visit Lauren yesterday afternoon. How AWESOME is that? Lauren’s been smiling from ear-to-ear for about 18 straight hours.
Taylor Swift stopped by Lauren’s room at the hospital around 1 pm in the afternoon. She spent about an hour chatting with Lauren and Jonathan. Jonathan played a song on the ukulele for her. Lauren got in on the act and played a song on the electronic piano key board that she got for her birthday.
Taylor was very impressed with both performances. I don’t mean 'polite impressed'. I mean 'real impressed'. Taylor shared stories from her childhood as she was getting her start as an entertainer and she told us all about the special stage designs of her new show. She posed for photos with everyone. And, in case you are not aware, she is a very photogenic young lady. Just before she had to leave, Taylor got out a bag of goodies for Lauren and provided autographs on notebooks, photographs and guitar picks.
Finally, she signed a special autograph to Jonathan on the front of the ukulele. It was a great afternoon for everyone and I’m sure Lauren will remember it for many years to come. So, to Taylor Swift, from a very grateful dad, thanks for brightening our day!'

According to Parade, Taylor Swift made an estimated $57 million in 2012, she's the third highest-paid woman in entertainment, behind Oprah Winfrey & Britney Spears. Taylor has reportedly made a $1 million profit on the Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, estate she bought last summer when she was dating the high school senior Conor Kennedy.
Taylor recently sold the seven-bedroom home, which she bought in August, just two months before she and Kennedy split. 'It was like a house-flip. A good short-term investment.' Taylor sold it for $5,765,00, nearly $1 million more than she paid for it.
Taylor never lived in the home, her 'entourage' made some improvements, including renovating the kitchen and some bathrooms, and replacing the septic system. Taylor: 'People say that about me, that I apparently buy houses near every boy I like, that's a thing that I apparently do. If I like you I will apparently buy up the real estate market just to freak you out so you leave me.'

Taylor Swift told Vanity Fair: 'There's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women.' Chelsea Handler said on Watch What Happens Live! 'I think that was a bold statement, but I'm not on anyone's side because I just don't care enough. I like that she's being that vociferous about something that she thinks they were out to get her. They were clearly making a joke just about her demeanor, which is embarrassing. I mean, she's just dated so many men.
My theory about Taylor Swift is that she's a virgin, that everyone breaks up with her because they date her for two weeks and she's like, 'I'm not gonna do it.' And they're like, 'Oh, well, forget it. Then I don't want to date you. Every guy thinks they're going to devirginize her, and they're not. She's never going to get devirginized, ever, ever, ever, ever.'

One of these things I say to myself to calm myself down when I feel like it's all too much.. If there's a pregnancy rumor, people will find out it's not true when you wind up not being pregnant, like nine months from now, and if there's a house rumor, they'll find out it's not true when you are actively not ever spotted at that house.'
And the worst kinds of sexists? Women who attack women. Amy Poehler and Tina Fey mocked her at this year's Golden Globes. 'You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people. Because she said to me.. 'There's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women.''
Amy Poehler responded: 'Aw, I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff. '
Taylor Swift VS. Ed Sheeran TROUBLE + Ed Partied With Ex After Night W/ Taylor!
Even though Ed Sheeran spent a night in a hotel room with Taylor Swift he has reportedly met up with his ex-girlfriend in Australia. The 22-year-old singer spent time at his concert after-party in Brisbane with former flame Camilla Severi on Saturday, according to The Sun.
The Give Me Love singer briefly dated the former Australian Big Brother star last year and the pair were said to have met at the Hilton Hotel where Ed was staying around 11 PM. Ed is said to be romancing Taylor Swift after the pair spent the night before the Brits together. Ed and Camilla are said to have spent the rest of the night at the bar with his crew mates.
'They got together when Ed played in Brisbane last year. Their relationship didn’t last long but they parted on good terms and kept in touch. She has even visited him in the States when he’s toured over there.' Taylor spent the majority of the evening before the 2013 Brit Awards with Ed, 22, in a hotel room.
E! News have claimed Ed who has collaborated with Taylor in the past may have been doing a different kind of collaborating after they ‘stayed in (her) room, just the two of them, until around 4 AM.' When the singer/songwriter left her room he looked ‘very happy'.
