As scheduled, Lenovo today launched the ‘Vibe K5 Note‘, their latest smartphone in Vibe series with pretty impressive specifications.The phone not only looks premium from outside but is also powerful inside.It will be available from August 3rd midnight via Flipkart in open sale. User’s will be able to buy the phone in Platinum Silver and Graphite Grey and Champagne Gold options. Lenovo Vibe K5 Note is priced at Rs. 11,999 for the 3GB RAM variant and Rs. 13,499 for the 4GB RAM variant.

VR, TheaterMax and Gaming:

You must note that Lenovo K5 Note which was launched back in China and the newly launched Lenovo Vibe K5 Note in India are two different smartphone model. The China variant came with 2GB RAM which the Indian Vibe K5 Note comes in 3GB and 4GB RAM variant. Also it has the TheaterMax technology feature offering you theater like video experience or i can say immersive VR experience on the go using ANTVR headset which was first introduced with Vibe K4 Note earlier this year.

You can buy ANTVR headset with the smartphone for Rs 500 extra. Lenovo has launched the new TheaterMax Bluetooth controller priced at Rs 500 too which can be used to control any content you choose with TheaterMax. There’s also a Amkette Evo Gamepad Pro 2 to make your gaming more exciting on Vibe K5 Note. If you think to buy in Bundle, the TheaterMax controller + ANTVR headset will cost you Rs. 999, and Amkette Evo Gamepad Pro 2 + ANTVR headset will cost you Rs. 1999.

Specifications:

Lenovo Vibe K5 Note comes out of the box running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and supports Dual Nano SIM cards. There’s also a Fingerprint sensor placed at rear facing which is not only easily accessible but also fast enough to unlock the device in just 0.3 seconds. It features a Full HD 5.5 inch IPS display offering 178-degree wide viewing angle, 450 nits brightness, 1000:1 conrast ratio and 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.

Lenovo has powered Vibe K5 Note with 1.8 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor coupled up with 3GB and 4GB RAM variants. It also has 550MHz Mali T860 GPU and comes with 32GB internal onboard storage memory which can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD card.

The Vibe K5 Note could also be a good choice for photography fans because of its 13 Megapixel primary camera having dual-tone LED flash, PDAF and f/2.2 aperture. For Selfie fans it carries an 8 Megapixel front facing camera with 77.4-degree wide-angle lens. It supports 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. All the juice to the device is coming from a 3500mAh battery.

Apart from that extreme TheaterMax and Gaming features, the Vibe K5 Note comes with some essential security features as well. One of its is called “Secure Zone”. It is a feature which is once activated creates a virtual phone inside your phone and what makes it so special is you can use both of them as complete separate devices. Which also means you can install and run 2 instances of any application, whether it is WeChat, Whatsapp or any other app on the same phone.
