Installing GenNxt Note 4 ROM on Samsung Galaxy Grand 2

GenNxt Note 4 Custom ROM

So we have been waiting for Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Galaxy Grand 2 since past six months. Samsung said many times that they will roll out updated one by one for their higher Galaxy Smartphones including Grand 2. But recently i saw an update on justaboutphones saying Samsung has dropped the idea because they are too busy porting Lollipop for their all S series and Note series Flagship smartphones.

Now, as i was fed up of the same Kitkat taste on my Grand 2, thought to change it. After checking out several Custom ROMs, including CyanogenMod 12 which is based on Android 5.0, finally i found one. It is GenNxt N4 Project based on Galaxy Note 4’s OS. Although it is Android 4.4 Kitkat based ROM but it is mostly like lollipop. Most important part of this Custom ROM is being Bloatware free and very very light.

Please Note, this ROM doesn’t just brings UI of Note 4, but also many of its features like Floating Call and SMS widget. You can check the complete review of this ROM just after the installation steps in the below video.
