HTC announced their next smartphone yesterday “HTC Desire 600” running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and HTC Sense 5 UI. It is a Dual Smartphone featuring 4.5-inch super LCD2 display offering 960 x 540 pixels resolutions. The new desire 600 is powered with 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor along with 1GB DDR2 RAM making it quiet good in performance and multitasking. There is also a Adreno 203 GPU making it good in gaming performance as well. The device not only appears very similar to the recently launched HTC ONE smartphone with live home screen, but also offers several features as well from HTC ONE at lower price.It also contains the two BoomSound speakers which we have seen in HTC ONE along with HTC BlinkFeed.
Furthermore the device offers 8 megapixel rear camera powered with BSI Sensor and LED Flash allowing you to capture all your favorite moments in Full HD video recording and high quality pictures. There is also a 1.6 megapixel front facing camera for making video calls and conferencing. As per storage Desire 600 comes with 8GB internal memory and not sure whether it contains the expandable memory slot. In terms of connectivity the device is compatible with all decent connectivity options which a high end smartphone should have. It supports 3G (HSDPA up to 7.2 Mbps), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX and GPS with a-GPS.
