HTC has launched Vive Phone Companion App for its VR device and is now available for free download. It offers some very needed features for the HTC Vive users. Once installed the app and paired your phone with Vive headset, you can take actions to new text messages as well as phone calls.
The app uses Bluetooth connectivity and keep you updated with push notifications not only for the messages and calls but also for the calendar events. You get pop-up for new notifications that don’t interrupt the video playback at all. Remember, you will have to setup the app on your phone as well as on computer.
