Reliance has launched yet another budget friendly 4G smartphone in its Lyf series, called ‘Lyf Flame 5’. Priced at just Rs. 3,999, which is exactly the price of Lyf Flame 3, Lyf Flame 4 and Lyf Flame 6.Coming out of the box with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the new Lyf 5 supports Dual SIM connectivity and sports a 4 inch WVGA TN display offering 800 x 480 pixels resolution. The screen is further protected with Asahi Dragontrail Glass for better durability.
Reliance has powered the phone with 1.5 GHz quad-core processor which is paired up with 512MB of RAM and Mali 400 MP2 GPU from which we can expect good performance, but multitasking would be very difficult with such low RAM. It has 4GB internal storage memory which can be expanded up to 32GB using microSD card.
In the camera department, Lyf Flame 5 features a 5 Megapixel rear camera with Auto focus and LED Flash. There is also a 2 Megapixel front-facing camera for Selfies and video calling. As said, Lyf 5 is a 4G LTE phone also supporting 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Reliance has backed up the phone with 1650mAh battery.
