Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ is the mew Budget smartphone from Intex with 4G Voice over LTE (VoLTE) priced at Rs. 5490. It is the successor of last year’s Aqua Strong 5.1 that was powered with MediaTek MT6735 SoC, but now the successor comes with Spreadturm SC9832A processor. The new Aqua Strong 5.1+ comes with some extra features though that is MiFon Security which is a 9-in-1 security suite for the device and data, it comes with VdioPlay Video aggregator app and also has a new QR Code reader. The phone even has an integrated smart tracking that keeps the track if the phone is lost or stolen.
Talking about the specifications, Aqua Strong 5.1+ is a Dual SIM phone running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It sports a 5 inch FWVGA TN display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution. Intex has powered the phone with 1.3GHz Quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A processor paired up with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal memory. However, we can expand the same up to 64GB using microSD card.
Under the hood, we get a 5 Megapixel primary camera with LED Flash at rear facing, while at the front we have a 2 Megapixel front-facing camera for video calling. Unlike the predecessor we don’t have a Flash this time with the front camera. Coming to connectivity features, the Aqua Strong 5.1+ supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
