The pressure is on for Martin Garrix after fans began petitioning for the music producer to release his collaboration with Ed Sheeran. It all started after a statement Martin made during his interview on the “De Coen & Sander Show,” stating that his and Ed’s song “Rewind Repeat It” will never be released.
“It’s all label issues and a lot of headaches,” the producer revealed. Martin goes on to say that after five months of not releasing a single he got annoyed and moved on from the “Rewind Repeat It” release plans. “It was going to be an official track, so we postponed all my other singles, but the label delayed the track because they wanted to release other tracks from Ed first,” he explained.
Fans weren’t too happy with the news, especially after hearing two different versions of the song at Ultra Music Festival in 2015 and 2016. A petition was created calling for fans to band together in hopes that the labels will be able to come to an understanding and allow Martin to release the track.
