Justin Bieber Blames Tour Cancellation On “Insecurities” And “Broken Relationships”

Justin Bieber posts heartfelt letter-1Since Justin Bieber announced the cancellation of his “Purpose World Tour,” everyone from John Mayer to Louis Tomlinson has something to say about the decision. On Wednesday night, the singer shared a heartfelt letter explaining his decision to end his tour after 16 months.

“I have let my insecurities get the best of me at times, I let my broken relationships dictate the way I acted toward people and the I treated them,” the singer wrote in the long Instagram post. Whether he is talking about Selena Gomez, Hailey Baldwin or even his broken relationship with his mom is unclear, but Justin goes on to say that the people in his circle have helped him get past those issues.

“I am extremely blessed to have people in the past few years help me build my character back up reminding me of who I am and who I want to be,” he wrote. After 150 shows, the singer decided that his exhaustion was too much to continue on for the final 14 shows–a decision Justin believes will be beneficial for him in the future. “Me taking this time right now is me saying I want to be SUSTAINABLE.. I want my career to be sustainable, but I also want my mind heart and should to be sustainable,” he wrote.

The cancelled tour was originally thought to have been due to the singer’s deep connection with the Hillsong Church, but those reports were quickly denied.
