Ariana Grande has begun her triumphant return after being at the center of a horrific tragedy in Manchester last year. The singer returned with a powerful vengeance on Friday with a new song, “No Tears Left To Cry.”
Ariana’s first post-Manchester track is an ode to resilience and optimism with lyrics such as, “We’re way too fly to partake in all this hate” and “Ain’t got no tears left to cry so I’m loving, I’m living, I’m picking it up.”
“No Tears Left To Cry” also arrived with a music video that goes along with Ariana’s upside-down teasers from the week. The topsy turvy clip sees Ariana quite literally climbing her way back to the top as a cityscape is turned upside down around her.
The comeback single is very likely one of many left to be heard in the coming months. Only time will tell how the rest of her “Dangerous Woman” follow-up plays out.
