Blackberry Q10 now available in India at Rs. 44,990

Blackberry has been well know for making Full QWERTY smartphone since year. They released their first ever Full Touch Smartphone in form of Blackberry Z10 which for the first device to launch with new Blackberry 10 operating system. Now they are back again with their QWERTY flagship and second device running with new operating system “Blackberry Q10”. Though the device made available in UK last month, the brand launched it finally today at the event in Delhi in India. Priced at Rs. 44,990 Blackberry Q10 comes with all those new applications and features that we saw in Z10 including BlackBerry Hub, BlackBerry Flow, BBM voice and video chat, Time Shift camera, HTML 5 support in browser, etc.

As per hardware and configuration Blackberry Q10 features a 3.1-inch Super AMOLED capactive touch screen display with 35-key QWERTY smart keyboard. Touch screen offers 720 x 720 pixels resolutions at 330 PPI pixel density which is the best so far in BB smartphones. The smartphone is powered with 1.5 GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 CPU with 2GB of RAM and a PowerVR SGX544 GPU making the device not only the best in Performance and Multitasking but also for Gaming. Though there are not as many games and apps for Blackberry as for iOS and Android but yet you can download and install several new games and apps launched for BB10 on your device. There wont be storage problem as well because the device comes built-in with 16GB Storage capacity that can be further expanded upto 64GB using MicroSD Card.

As far as connectivity is concerned, we get all decent connectivity options with Q10 including 3G HSPA+, Dual Band 802.11 WiFi a/b/g/n,Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, micro HDMI and GPS. It also seems impressive with its 8 megapixel rear camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash capable to record Full HD 1080p videos and high quality images with several enhancement options like Time Shift. There is also a 2 Megapixel front facing camera for making video calls and conferencing in 720p video quality. Blackberry Q10 is running with 2100 mAh battery from which we can expect upto 12 to 14 hours of battery life on 3G and WiFi and upto 15 days on standby mode.
