Samsung Launches New Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 With In-Display Fingerprint, Triple Cameras and More

Samsung Galaxy A30 and A50 Specifications Price

Samsung has launched its new range of A series after being in leaks for so long. The first two smart[hones of A Series 2019 are Samsung Galaxy A30 and Samsung Galaxy A50. Both the phones come with Flagship like features such as In-display fingerprint sensor, Triple rear cameras, Samsung Pay, Bixby Home and Bixby Reminder as we saw recently in Samsung Galaxy S10+. But surprisingly, these are mid ranged phones which means they will be affordable too.

Samsung Galaxy A30:

The new Galaxy A30 comes out of the box running latest Android 9.0 (Pie) and supports Dual SIM connectivity. Being a little brother, the A30 has rear mounted fingerprint sensor and sports a huge 6.4 inch Full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display offering 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution. Samsung has powered it up with Octa-Core (Dual 1.8GHz + Hexa 1.6GHz) Exynos 7870 14nm processor accompanied by Mali-G71 GPU. As per RAM and storage, it will be available in two variants, that includes a 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB Storage memory. Both further support upto 512GB microSD card for expansion.

For photography fans, Galaxy A30 carries Dual camera setup including a 16 Megapixel primary camera with LED flash and f/1.7 aperture along with 5 Megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. On the front it has, a 16 Megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The phone is powered on 4000mAh battery with fast charging.

Samsung Galaxy A50:

Now this is the superior one among these with better specifications. Samsung Galaxy A50 sports the same 6.4 inch Full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display offering 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution and is running on Android 9.0 (Pie) OS. Just like the new Galaxy S10 Series, it also has In-display Fingerprint sensor.

The phone is powered by Octa-Core (Quad 2.3GHz + Quad 1.7GHz) Exynos 9610 10nm processor with Mali-G72 GPU. Unlike A30, the Galaxy A50 comes in 4GB RAM with 64GB storage  and 6GB RAM with 128GB Storage variants. Both the variants can be expanded up to 512GB using microSD card.

The new Samsung Galaxy A50 is also superior in Camera department with Triple rear cameras. On the rear facing we get a 25 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.7 aperture along with secondary 5 Megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture and an 8 Megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. While for selfie fans, it carries a 25 Megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It is running on 4000mAh battery with fast charging support.

Pricing and Availability:

Both Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 will go on sale somewhere in mid-March but there is no pricing announced so far. We will keep you updated as soon as it is revealed. Users can avail Galaxy A30 in Black, White, Blue colors while the Galaxy A50 will be available in four colors including Black, White, Blue and Coral colors.
