WhatsApp Tips

Are you a text person?? Do you prefer texting over calling? Then, I can easily assume that you absolutely love WhatsApp. Moreover, WhatsApp comes very handy when it comes to sending text messages, pictures, or anything. No doubt, it is the most favorite app of millions of users around the world.

But, as you know everything comes with its own pros and cons.

Though WhatsApp is the most useful app for messaging, it can be annoying when you have to have only a short chat with someone… say some random delivery guy and you just have to provide change in shipping address, then you have to first save his number and after you finish your work with him, you no longer need his number but he will have your number and he can easily access your profile and send you further messages.. And that can be irritating!!

Do you know, you can have short communication with people you only keep in touch for short time using WhatsApp without letting them access your WhatsApp profile or number?

Well, to accomplish this, there are plenty of third party apps but using them can put your device on risk or start working abnormally as majority of these apps contains heavy advertisements, while some are scams. There is another way of achieving your goal.

In this article, I will tell you a trick by which you will be able to send messages using WhatsApp but without saving senders number in your contact and without letting them access to your WhatsApp profile. It is as easy as browsing your favorite sites. All you need to do, is to perform the following steps:

  • Go to the favorite browser on your phone.
  • Second step is to copy the following link in the Address bar: https://api.WhatsApp.com/send?phone=number
  • In the above mentioned link, fill in the number that you want to have chat with, in the “number” field along with the country code. For India it is +91.
  • Now press enter.
  • Now you will be taken to a WhatsApp window, where you will be asked for confirmation. Click on ‘send message’ if you are sure to send the message.
  • After this, a WhatsApp chat window will be opened for that particular number. You can start chat by then.

This is basically a Whatsapp Api we are talking about. You will be chatting on a browser rather than the app on your phone. In this way, you can send messages to any unsaved number without letting the recipient to have access to your WhatsApp after your work is done.

This will save you from unnecessary poking that can be really problematic at times after your WhatsApp number comes in wrong hands.

This method is completely safe and will not put you phone to any sort of risk or unnecessary traffic of the notifications you get after using many third party messaging apps. Also, it will not use any space. It is as simple as that.
