Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 – Patch Data Error (Oscar-03) Error

Luckily i didn’t encountered this error so far, but there have been many users who have reported they come across the following error while playing The Division 2:

“An error has occurred while downloading new patch data. Please check your network settings and try again.OSCAR-03”

There is no official workaround for the same, but few guys have been successful to fix it by changing some settings in their routers. Yes, this is connectivity issue. Here’s is what you can try out to fix it:

  • Log in to your Router, go to Settings and enable UPnP (Universal Plug and Play).
  • This has to be usually under Advanced Settings. In my Netgear, it is located at Advanced > Advanced Setup > UPnP.
  • Now Forward Ports listed here at official Ubisoft forums.
  • Close the router page.
  • Now to Start Menu and type CMD
  • Type /ipconfig flushdns to flush out the DNS
  • Restart the game.

If you are Nvidia graphics card user, make sure to enable the thread optimization in the control panel of graphics settings.

If there is a no sound in a game, to fix this you have to start the DxDiag. To launch it type DxDiag in a search box, then DirectX window will appear then after that click on sound and lower the sound acceleration.
