Moreover it is much identical to Xolo Q1200 with only difference found is in front panel and side buttons rest all the design and build of the phone matches Xolo Q1200. Similar design and build of the phone can lead this phone down in the market because company is pioneering its flagship and landed up with identical design with already existing device. Coming to the body shape of the phone which looks like rectangular Android candy bar with screen in the center and essential hardware placed above and below respectively. Body is made of plastic and back panel has been adopted by Apple iPhone design. Upper and bottom the back is covered with plastic body and centre part is given with metal finished body and center part is removable to place microSIM and microSD card in it.

Front comprises of huge display at the centre and above it has earpiece, sensors and front camera and below the display is covered up with three capacitive touch buttons of back , home and option menu. Logo seems like it is tightened with screw to have firm grip on the back of the phone. Bottom part of the back has speaker of the phone to have audio output. Coming to the sides of the phone it has smartly diverted hardware buttons on both the sides, right sides is placed with power button and left side is occupied with volume rocker buttons. Top side has audio enhancement jack of 3.5mm and bottom of the phone has mic for audio input and microUSB port for charging and USB connection. Design part of the phone is simple and similar to most of the smartphones in the market.

Display / Screen:

As the phone is to be launched in mid-range segment so it is quite obvious that display features will not be so perfect compare to high-end segment phones. Obi has tried its best to produce more features in just affordable price; it has 5-inch display with the resolution of 720X1280 pixels which is good move by Obi mobiles. Display has IPS technology panel to give out crisp and bright output with accurate viewing angles. Display of the phone is good and produces vibrant color output with fine viewing angle. Operation of the phone under bright light is little challenging as output is not much bright when kept in auto brightness mode.

Hardware and Specs:

Hardware specs are growing more intense with growing technology all the smartphone manufacturers are stressing more in introducing powerful and efficient hardware for its flagship. Obi too has done the same, first flagship of the company and is powering with MediaTek MT6592 chipset with octa-core 1.7GHz and 1GB RAM to look out for the performance of the phone. Eight core processors and 1GB RAM is deadly combination to experience best performance in mid-range segment phone.

Camera Quality:

Camera with 8MP is placed on left side of the back panel, camera seems to be little fussy. Camera faces challenge to capture ideal images without perfect lighting conditions. Outdoor is somewhat good but low light image was disaster on this phone. Outdoor images too were not perfect in terms of color reproduction and exposure was unbalanced. Camera is featured with flash but it does not help phone to get sharp and real images. Videos can be shot at full HD resolution but that doesn’t appear to be a perfect HD videos. Front camera of the phone helps you to capture 720p recording which is desirable feature in most of the smartphones.
