HTC to launch Desire 820 with Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 64-bit SoC at IFA launch

On 4th September 2014 HTC will be launching its new smartphone Desire 820 which is also the successor of HTC Desire 816 at 2014 IFA event. The teaser images of this device shows that the HTC Desire 820 seems to be look same as HTC Desire 816 and the X-ray type image shows the phone contains front-facing camera, Blue colored rear shell and a speaker which really makes the device looks similar to HTC Desire 816.

The image also shows that the phone is powered with 64-bit Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU and it has a chip set of 8 ARM Cortex A53 cores with the clock speed of (four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz per core and four clocked at 1.0 GHz per core). The device will also be supporting Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) with Dual Active capabilities and has a 4G LTE network connectivity.

The schedule for HTC’s IFA event is at 8AM – CEST and 11:30AM – IST on 4th September 2014.
