Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced on Monday that they are starting a new charity organization named “Archwell.” After the issues with their Sussex Royal brand, the two decided to start a new non-profitable group.
When it comes to the organization name, they found inspiration in their eleven months old son, Archie. “Archwell” is a combination of two ancient Greek words and is holding the meaning “strength and action.”
According to The Telegraph, Meghan and Harry told that they want “to do something of meaning, to do something that matters.”
Before the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex settled on “Archwell,” they first wanted to name the organization exactly after their son. The name Archie is, in Greek, explained as a “source of action.”
Just a week ago, Meghan and Harry stepped off their duties as the senior royal members, and are now planning their future jobs. Meghan expressed her desire to go back to acting, but this time it will be much harder for her, mainly because she wants to be taken seriously as an actress and to not play small roles.
