The 29-year-old singer, Rita Ora, felt the urge to help those in need and has signed up as an NHS volunteer, along with her sister Elena, who is 31.
Recently, Rita revealed that her mother got back working for NHS amid the Coronavirus outbreak. She called her mum, Vera, who is a psychiatrist, a “superhero” for going back to work to help during these difficult times.
The actress and singer told HELLO! the following: “My mother has always been my hero, but this pandemic has honestly made her a superhero in my eyes.”
The Ora sisters will not have an easy task. Rita revealed all the assignments they will be given, such as: “deliver medical supplies, collect prescriptions, check on the elderly, and make phone calls to lonely and vulnerable members of the community.”
