Samsung Galaxy Note Edge revealed, first smartphone with Curved Edge Screen display
Samsung Unpacked 2 Event which took place today at IFA, Berlin. Samsung have announced the devices which have been in news since a long time. Samsung introduced the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung Gear S and Samsung Galaxy VR today.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is the new smartphone and the world’s first smartphone to feature a bent display on the bezel. It comes with Android 4.4 KitKat OS with the new Samsung User Interface. The screen on the Samsung galaxy Edge is the feature of attraction as it gives you a 5.6 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED capacitive display and on the right side there is a bent strip of 160 pixels which gives you access to the alerts, notifications, frequently used apps and you can access this side screen even though the Flip cover is close.
Samsung made the phone quite powerful with a 2.7 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 805 Processor which is by Qualcomm and there is Adreno 420 GPU for gaming. There is a 16.0 Megapixel main camera on the back with Smart OIS and LED Flash. On the front, there is a 3.7 MP camera with f/1.9 aperture.
On the Storage and memory side the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge pays off heavy duty specs. This smartphone features 3GB of RAM for multitasking and using multi window functions which is the plus point on the phone that you can access the bent display and utilize it full with your own customization. You have 2 choices over the internal storage; you can buy either the 32GB variant or the 64GB variant. Still you can expand the storage on the phone with a microSD card upto 64GB.
There are many features that match with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. This phablet also comes with a S Pen Stylus, a Finger Scanner for Biometric Locking feature and for mobile payments, S Health3.5, UV, Heart Rate Monitoring, SpO2 and much more to offer.
On the connectivity side, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge stands quite on top along with Samsung Galaxy Note 4 as it offers you 4G LTE-A Cat.6 and 3G HSPA+ network connectivity and speeds upto 42Mbps. More connectivity features like there is a Bluetooth v4.1 LE/ ANT+, WiFi 802.11 a/ b/g/n/ac (HT80) MIMO PCIe and GPS with GLONASS and Beidou. It also supports MicroUSB 2.0 and MHL v3.0.

There are two color to choose from, Charcoal Black and Frost White. There is still no word over the price of Falaxy Note Edge as it is just announced today. It will be only available for selected markets and could be coming by end of this year.
