Google Chromecast now available in India for Rs. 2,999

The most awaited product, Google Chromecast finally reached India and is exclusively available with Snapdeal. Price tag is Rs. 2,999 but internationally it is available for a little lower like $35. Chromecast is only 2-inches and integrates an HDMI port for connecting it to HD TV, Monitors with HDMI connectivity and other compatible devices. Chromecast was exclusively launched with the ongoing event of Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF). Google has tied up with Airtel for establishing the Chromecast signal setup in India and it also has something to offer for existing Airtel Broadband subscribers.

Chromecast is broadly used as a streaming device, for streaming contents from local devices or through online services like Hulu, Netflix, Google’s YouTube and even the content from Google play movies, But in India certain services like Hulu and Netflix have not been issued, but in India it has services like Eros Now, Spuul and YuppTV and other Google related services are still ported with Chromecast widely independent of nations.

Teaming up with Airtel, led the offer to come into existence, the offer reveals that those Airtel broadband subscriber’s will receive 60GB broadband data free with each purchase of Chromecast, the Chromecast also reveals 2 months of free subscription of Eros Now premium content. To use Chromecast with your desired device, you must have an Internet connection which is aired through Wi-Fi with a minimum speed of 2Mbps for accessing the minimum Chromecast features, so prepare the requirements in order to use the Chromecast to the fullest.
