Data Usage Check:

Now from the Notification panel directly you can find out your data consumption. This is a new UI tweak. You have to go in the settings for the same. Just scroll down the Notification and use see how much of MBs are used up while web surfing or while downloading files.

Disable Lock screen Notification:

It is possible to turn off all lock screen notification in Android 5.0 Lollipop. In older version it is possible to customize the same but you cannot turn that off completely. In Android 5.0 Lollipop, you have to tap on Settings and in that you can find Sound and notification. Look for When Device is locked and add a tick on Don’t show notifications at all.

Turn of Full Screen Call:

In Android when someone calls you the entire screen is covered up. Whatever app you are using will be minimized. Like playing games or Facebook or WhatsApp. But in Android 5.0 Lollipop this is changed. When you get a call it won’t b covering the entire screen.

Pin Apps:

This is another handy feature of Android 5.0 Lollipop. Through this you can pin apps on the phone screen and you can start them easily and fast. You have to first activate this feature. And you can do this by going in Settings. You can find Security there. Tap on it and then enable Screen pinning on it. That’s it. You can now pin apps at the bottom right. It won’t be getting closed or minimized.

Tiny Clock:

Android 5.0 Lollipop offer you a tiny clock app that can let you to get all functionality of clock on your screen. You can customize the color of the same. You can find settings for that in the Clock app.

Priority mode:

This time Android 5.0 Lollipop is having a DND mode. You can use this to simply turn off the phone notification that won’t be interrupting you anymore. You can do that by pressing the volume slider to lowest maximum. You will see a priority mode in center and you can then adjust the filters.

High contrast text:

If you are having any issue with visibility then you can turn on High Contrast Test. You can find this in Setting > Accessibility. Ideal for those who have glasses or for those who have visibility problem.

Reboot with Active App:

In old Android OS when you reboot your device it starts in the clean state. That means all the apps in the background were closed and they will start once again. Now in Android 5.0 Lollipop this thing is removed. You will get a recent tab from where you can start your apps back again.

Image RAW format:

Before it was not possible to view images in raw format. Now it is. You can just load up all your raw images in the phone and through the internal camera app you can view them. You can also capture images in complete raw format and later on edit them to make it lot more better.

Color Correction:

Android 5.0 Lollipop is having a new color correction options. That means you can view things more clearly from the same. You have to turn this on manually. It does not work on default mode. For that go in Settings and tap on accessibility. You will find Color Correction there. For those who are having eye sight issues related to color can use this.
