There have been various speculations on the specifications and features of the much awaited Xiaomi Mi 5. There is a recent report that states the launch date of the highly awaited Smartphone.
As per reports from the IT168, the Chinese website, the Xiaomi Mi5 may launch in October or November this year. The launch has not been declared by the company. Also the previous report from IT168 stated that the Mi5 will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor, however this news has also not been declared by the company. A leaked roadmap from May stated that hints that the company’s latest flagship will be launched on November 2015.

The earlier report leaked in May also stated that the device will come with a 5.5 inch display and will be packed with a 4G RAM and internal memory of either 16GB or 64GB. However it varies from the recent report which states that the Mi5 will come with a 5.2 inch screen. The rumored features of Mi5 include QHD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display screen, 16 megapixel primary camera and 8 megapixel front camera, a 3000mAh battery and also equipped with a fingerprint scanner.
There were also earlier reports on the rumored plus version of the Smartphone, Mi 5 Plus which is supposed to launch along with Mi 5. The Mi 5 Plus is expected to be a phablet with a screen of 6 inches and a QHD display. As per rumors the Mi 5 Plus will feature an almost bezel-less display. Also it is rumored to come with a 4B of RAM and a 32GB internal storage and a 16 megapixel rear camera. Though nothing has been confirmed, we will keep you updated about the Xiaomi Mi 5.
