Micromax has launched two new smartphones to meet youngster’s requirements of clicking Selfies. These new Smartphones are Canvas Selfie Lens Q345 and Canvas Selfie A255. As the name suggests these phone are selfie and groupie centered smartphones. They offer a great quality of camera and decent specs. Today we will put these two devices head to head and compare both of them based on some important specs.

Display:

Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens Q345 sports a HD IPS 5 inch wide display which gives resolution of 1280×720 pixels and comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection which increases it durability and scratch resistance. Whereas Canvas Selfie A255 comes with 4.7 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display which gives a resolution of 720×1280 pixels which got Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Processor:

Canvas Selfie Lens is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad core processor and MediaTek 6582 processor which is coupled with 1 GB of DDR3 RAM. On the other hand Canvas Selfie A255 comes is powered by 1.7 GHz Octa-core processor with MediaTek MT6592 chipset which is coupled with 2 GB of RAM. So Canvas Selfie A255 offers better processor and RAM which will directly increases the speed of the Phone.

Operating System:

Canvas Selfie Lens runs out of box on the latest version of Android OS i.e. v5.0 Lollipop while Canvas Selfie A255 comes with an older version KitKat.

Camera:

Camera is the most important aspect of these selfie addressed smartphones. Canvas Selfie lens comes with selfie optimized 5 megapixels of Front camera which uses LARGAN lens and OV Sensor. It houses an 8 megapixel of rear camera which uses a same LARGAN lens but Sony’s Sensor as well as LED Flash. Canvas Selfie A255 offers 13 megapixel of Front camera with flash light and 13 megapixel of rear camera with advanced features like autofocus, dual-LED flash and many more.

Memory:

Canvas Selfie Lens comes with 8 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD. While Canvas Selfie A255 gives you 16 GB of internal memory which is also expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.

Battery:

Canvas selfie lens is powered by a 2800mAh Battery which gives standby time of 374 hours and Talk time of 9 hours. While Canvas Selfie A255 runs on Li-lon 2300 mAh battery which gives standby time up to 198 hours and talk time up to 8 hours 30 minutes.

Connectivity:

Both have same connectivity options like WIFI, USB, GPS, 3G, and Bluetooth etc.
