Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus Specifications Leaked

There are many rumors on the internet about Samsung’s upcoming smartphones like Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Galaxy A8. Samsung is dominating India’s Smartphone market from many years. Recently, exclusive information about Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus circulated around the web.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Concept

We have some internal information about Galaxy Note 5. It is codenamed as ‘Project Noble’. Note 5 is expected to be powered with Exynos 7422 processor. Exynos is a SOC (System-on-chip) developed by Samsung and it is the company’s first ePoP. Earlier Samsung was planning to accommodate Exynos 7430 chipset and feature a 4K resolution display but later they decided to keep just Exynos 7422 and a 2K display. Note 5 features an auto-electable Pen (stylus) for the first time in Note series. Earlier there were many rumors that Note 5 will come with USB type-C but they are wrong and it will actually launch with USB 2.0.

Whereas, the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is internally codenamed as ‘Project Zen’ and it will be powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor. S6 Edge Plus will come with 32GB of internal storage and 14-megapixel primary shooter which will allows you to record 4K video and 5 Megapixel secondary shooter. It runs out-of-the box on Android v5.1.1 Lollipop. It will pack a 3000mAh of battery which gives quite good standby and talk-time period.

Galaxy Note 5 Concept

According to reports both Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge will sport 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display, which will give resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. As far as design is concerned, the Galaxy Note 5 will feature a traditional flat design just like other phablets in Galaxy Note series while Galaxy S6 Edge plus will feature dual-curved, bezel less design like its predecessor Galaxy S6 Edge. Also both the smartphones will be released in four color variants i.e., Black, Gold, Silver and White.

We expect more details about Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus at IFA event this year. IFA 2015 is scheduled at 4-5th September, so we can say that Samsung will follow its usual pattern and it will make some announcements on S6 Edge Plus and Note 5.
