Earlier this month Huawei tipped that they will be rolling out Android 5.1 Lollipop update for four of its Honor smartphones. Well, it is live now. Today they released the lollipop update for Honor 4C and Honor 6. Unfortunately, these are not OTA updates. You will need to manually Download and Flash the firmware on your smartphones.
The Firmwares are available for Download (Honor 4C | Honor 6) from Official Honor India Site along with the Flashing manually inside the rar file. Get the firmware on your desktop, read the manual properly and then flash it. It doesn’t requires any expertise. You can do it comfortably if read properly. The Firmware update size for Honor 6 is 1.3GB while for Honor 4C is 1.4GB.
With this new Android 5.1 Lollipop update, Huawei brings in many new features along with the stock lollipop features. First of all, we get company’s own Emotion UI 3.1 with enhanced and improved UI. Other than this, below the new stuffs it brings in:
