We already know that few Galaxy S5 users already received Marshmallow update last year itself, not once but twice, mistakenly. But now, no more mistake. Samsung is now officially rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Galaxy S5 users with model number SM-G900L in South Korea.

Samsung Galaxy S5 is the 2014 flagship launched with Android 4.4.2 Kitkat. It received Lollipop update last year at the same time. Now since Marshmallow was releases in August last year, its been long time but finally the device got the latest and probably the last update in form of Marshmallow.

If you are Galaxy S5 user, you must go to phone settings > about device > software update and check for the update manually. Make sure to be connected to WiFi while downloading the update since it is huge in size. Or get it using Samsung Kies. With this update, we get whole set of new features that includes special permission for specific app, Doze Mode, Google Now on Tap, fingerprint APIs and Android Pay mobile payments support, better RAM management, and lots more.

Other Galaxy S5 Models and other countries will soon be receiving the Marshmallow update too. Just keep checking your phone or this place for new updates.
