WhatsApp keeps introducing new features every week to make the world’s most popular messenger even more popular. Today they have brought yet another very useful feature for Android users, Quick Reply. Well, you can now reply to the new messages directly from the Notification area, without even leaving your current screen or app.
To get this Quick Reply feature, you must be running WhatsApp Beta version 2.12.561 which can be download via PlayStore. Note, you require ‘Latest Beta Version’ which will be available only if you have subscribed for the Beta Program. Which also means, this version is not available either on official whatsapp website, not even on PlayStore if you are note Beta tester.
WhatsApp Quick Reply works just like the Pop-up notification, that is, you can reply to the messages in notification from any screen, including the clock screen. But unlike Pop-up feature, there is no option to turn off the Quick reply from settings.
