Microsoft is all set to roll out next major update for its Windows 10 devices. Dubbed as ‘Windows 10 Anniversary Update’ will hit the devices on August 2nd. The update brings improvements and innovations to 6 areas of the system that includes Cortana, Windows Ink, Microsoft Edge, Advanced security features and Gaming experiences. Just like the operating system, all these new features will be added for Free to the more than 350 million Windows 10 devices on August 2nd.

The Anniversary update brings additional Advanced Security features to Windows Defender and Windows Hello. It also adds several improvements to the Windows Ink allowing you to quickly and easily take a note, sketch on a screenshot, or draw an idea.

Most of all, Cortana will be more smarter and faster than before after this update. Furthermore, the new browser, Microsoft Edge will be enhanced with efficiency, extensions and accessibility. It also brings new tools and improvements for Windows 10 gamers.

Apart from all these, to celebrate the Anniversary Update, Microsoft offering $300 discounts for Students if they buy Xbox One and Surface together from Microsoft stores. Or, they also get a free TV when they purchase a Dell PC over $699. Don’t forget, Windows 10 is still available for free upgrade till July 29th.
