Music’s Favorite Songwriter Ed Sheeran Can’t Stop Getting Sued For Copyright Infringement

Ed Sheeran being sued for stealing againMusic’s go-to songwriter Ed Sheeran is being sued again for a song that he is being accused of stealing. “The Rest of Our Life” was co-written by the UK singer, but performed by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill for their duets album of the same name.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sean Carey and Beau Golden are claiming Tim and Faith’s single is “blatant copying” of their song “When I Found You.” Richard Busch will be representing the plaintiffs in the case after famously representing Marvin Gaye’s family in their win against Robin Thicke and Pharrell over “Blurred Lines.” The attorney also fought against Ed in a $20 million lawsuit over “Photograph,” which was settled out of court.
