Shawn Mendes Bonds With Grace VanderWaal, Promises Mentorship

Shawn Mendes Gives Guitar To Grace VanderWaalShawn Mendes has taken “America’s Got Talent” winner Grace VanderWaal under his wing. Despite the 12-year-old’s constant comparison to Taylor Swift, Shawn beat out the “Bad Blood” singer’s congratulatory flowers with a very special gift. Grace shared a video via Twitter to thank Shawn for a custom guitar. The phrase “Miracles do happen” is carved into the instrument, which is a touching tribute to the words that followed her throughout the “AGT” competition.
