Tuesday, the Recording Academy announced the contenders for the 2018 GRAMMY Awards. Along with notable snubs for Miley Cyrus, Harry Styles and Demi Lovato, singer-songwriter and creeper extraordinaire Charlie Puth wasn’t recognized for his chart-topping single, “Attention.”

Award shows like the GRAMMYs give artists a chance to rub shoulders with other stars they might not normally run into. That much was true for Mike Posner, who happened to get a close-up on Demi Lovato while he took a break on the red carpet. Mike and his musical collaborator Blackbear were apparently tired out from having their photos taken, so they decided to sit for a spell as other stars passed them by. One of those stars was Demi Lovato.
Mike was able to snap a pic of Demi as she posed for the photographers. Like Nick Jonas, Mike apparently enjoys seeing Demi’s sexy side. He had nothing but praise for Demi’s see-through gown. It’s unclear if Mike had a chance to chat with his new crush, but his pal Blackbear said in an Instagram caption that he knows Demi from way back. So at least Mike has an in.
Of course, Demi might not be taking dates at the moment. She’s been spending most of her time with MMA fighter Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos. Mike might be at a decided disadvantage if he wants to fight for Demi’s attention.

Adele raised a few eyebrows on Sunday night. During her acceptance speech for “Album of the Year,” she gave a special shoutout to Beyoncé, who she beat in the category. Adele’s “25” may have topped Beyoncé’s “Lemonade” for the Recording Academy, but Adele seemed to know who the real winner was and said as much.
After landing zero nominations for the 2017 GRAMMYs, Nick Jonas might’ve been bitter. If he was, he got over it in time for Sunday night’s show. Nick was a regular source of comic relief through the night. From his flirtation with host James Corden’s mom to his ideas for Beyoncé’s baby names, Nick seemed like he was at the awards show to take home a good time.
That much was obvious on his Instagram, where Nick made a meme of himself a couple of times. Between calling himself out for the look on his face when he presented a trophy to taking advantage of how close he was sitting to Rihanna, Nick was full of jokes. But even he couldn’t come up with the right caption for a photo of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, looking a little unsure of whether she wanted to shake his hand.
When his own words failed him, Nick asked his followers to help him caption the pic.

Vanessa Hudgens must’ve been feeling inspired after Sunday night’s GRAMMYs. Whether she was blown away or thought she could do better, Vanessa is clearly ready to get back to her musical roots. The good news for her fans is that she’s already on her way.
Vanessa shared a Snapchat pic of herself in the studio via Instagram. In the Monday morning post, she teased that she “can’t wait to share” what she was recording over the weekend. While she didn’t drop any hints about what she was recording, fans have ideas.
Following Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato’s teaser for a new “Camp Rock,” some are hoping Vanessa could be recording parts for a new “High School Musical.” Others are just hoping for new music from Vanessa. Whatever it is, Vanessa might be ready to take the stage at next year’s GRAMMYs.

Chance the Rapper did alright for himself at Sunday night’s GRAMMYs. After winning three trophies, he closed out the show with a performance. The pieces of hardware he took home weren’t the only accolades Chance had to handle. Among the outpour of supporters for his big night was Zac Efron, who live-tweeted his excitement as Chance kept winning.
The tweets celebrated Chance’s win in the “Best New Artist” category. Zac kept tweeting as Chance won the “Best Rap Album” and “Best Rap Performance” awards, too. The “Baywatch” star had his number three hat on as he shared how inspired he is by an artist like Chance.
