Demi Lovato was in Boston Tuesday night throwing a house party to celebrate her new single. She definitely won’t be sorry that she was away from home because police say an unidentified man with a ladder broke into Demi’s Hollywood Hills estate and was caught peering through her bedroom window. TMZ reports that police were called by Demi’s live-in house manager, who caught the man on Demi’s balcony after guard dogs started barking.
Upon seeing the intruder wearing all black and a hat, the manager called 911 as fast as possible and fled the scene in case the shadowy figure was up to no good. The person was gone by the time police arrived and remains at large. There’s no information about whether or not anything was reported stolen.
Demi bought her home in the Hills last year and reportedly still hadn’t moved in by February, when a nearby landslide threatened her property. She isn’t the first celeb to have humans pose a risk to her home, though. Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner have both struggled to keep their L.A. homes safe.
Demi will be in Nashville on Wednesday for the second night of her “Sorry Not Sorry” House Party Tour.
