Ariana Grande Shares Teaser for her Upcoming ‘Chick Flick’ Mashup Video to “Thank U, Next”

Ariana Grande Thank U Next VideoAriana has been dropping references to her favorite ‘chick flicks’ ever since she performed “Thank U, Next” on The Ellen Degeneres Show with a routine out of the First Wives Club.

The connection between “Thank U, Next” and First Wives Club might have initially confused some of her fans, but over the last couple weeks, Ariana has doubled down on the more general theme by posting shots of herself and other actors with references to a small list of additional romantic comedies appealing to women that seem to include Mean Girls, Bring It On, 13 Going on 30 and Legally Blonde.

So now everyone has caught on to the clues. Ariana is doing a mashup of these ‘chick flick’ comedies as the basis for the music video to her No. 1 hit, “Thank U, Next.”
