YouTube has kicked off its own singing competition show with a series premiere featuring Demi Lovato. “Best.Cover.Ever” was released on the video-sharing platform earlier this week with host Ludacris as the two artists choose between two bands and decide who ultimately sings better than Demi.

Demi Lovato’s still working off of her old music. Just after performing “Confident” at the Time 100 Gala, Demi’s now asking fans to submit covers of the song for a new, Ryan Seacrest-produced YouTube series called “Best. Cover. Ever.” The new competition hosted by Ludacris gives fans a chance to meet artists whose songs they cover.
Demi jumped in front of the world’s worst green screen for a special video call for submissions. In it, Demi revealed that the winner earns a trip to L.A. to perform with her and will appear in an exclusive YouTube video. Ryan added that submitted covers should be as original as possible and it seems like bonus points go to unexpected genres and styles.

The 2016 Billboard Music Awards are this Sunday and there is no end to the list of celebs that will be showing up to this year’s award show. Ludacris and Ciara will be handling the hosting duties as artists like Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, DNCE and more take the stage to perform.
On Saturday night, 31 year old designer Alexander Wang celebrated his brand’s 10-year anniversary at an event that’s being called one of the highlights of New York Fashion Week so far. The show attracted a star-studded audience including Kylie Jenner, Tyga, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga. Bella Hadid and The Weeknd were also there, and the two seemed to hold hands through most of the night.
For the show, the designer went back to his roots with a street-themed line. Mesh, leather, baggy, and black dominated the stage with male and female models made to appear like they walked off the street and right onto the runway. A high fashion street at least.
Once the runway show was over, the label hosted a huge after party that lasted into Sunday morning. Models, celebs, fashion industry execs and friends were treated to live musical performances, pole dances, jell-o shots, cocktails and wings. Performers at the event included Tinashe, Lil Wayne, and Ludacris.
