“[D]uring my break, I definitely felt like there wasn’t any meaning to anything,” Marina admits in her cover story. “It was all well and good saying I didn’t want to do music, but what else was I going to with my life? Did I ever really do anything with music? What’s the point?”

Marina Drops Full, Double-Sided Comeback Album: “Love + Fear”

Marina Love   FearOfficially leaving the “Diamonds” era behind, singer-songwriter Marina finally dropped her big “two-sided” comeback album, “Love + Fear.” Earlier this month, Marina released the first eight songs of her concept album related to “Love,” which included international hits “Orange Trees” and “Baby,” a collab with Clean Bandit and Luis Fonsi.

Now, fans get to experience Marina’s full vision for her album with an additional eight songs related to her concept of “Fear.”

Marina Hosts a Fan Q&A Event on her New Album “Love + Fear

Marina Q&AMarina sat for questions on her new album “Love + Fear” at a pretty traditional fan Q&A held at the Google Space in London. In one twist, the Q&A was moderated by Marina’s longtime manager Jess Keeley, which led to a much higher quality of conversation. Jess was also happy not to focus the discussion solely on the upcoming album and allowed questions on Marina’s previous work.

Marina Gives Her U.S. Television Debut Performance of “Orange Trees”

Marina Surprises Her Fans By Releasing Half of Her New Album’s Songs

Marina LoveMarina has apparently decided to put “love” first. At least that’s what happened when she released half of the tracks from her upcoming album project Love + Fear. The eight tracks — all reflecting Marina’s concept of Love on the album, includes the previously released songs “Baby” with Clean Bandit and Luis Fonsi, “Superstar,” “Handmade Heaven” and “Orange Trees.”

“I created ‘LOVE + FEAR’ as 2 separate records to be listened to individually,” Marina explained on her Twitter account. “I’m releasing ‘LOVE’ today so you can listen to it in full before we move onto ‘FEAR.'”

When it is fully released on April 26th, the 2-record album set will be Marina’s first since she released her iconic pop album Froot back in 2015. At that time, Marina still went by the name “Marina and The Diamonds” while performing, but has since shorted her act’s professional title to just her first name.
