Last year’s fake dreadlocks controversy wasn’t enough to keep Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid away from Marc Jacobs. Both models were joined once again by Bella Hadid for the New York Fashion Week show, which made a splash with fashion insiders for using zero music while models walked.
But users on Twitter weren’t as impressed. The decision to use “Pepsi Jenner” in the show only underscored how out of touch Marc is with another year of cultural appropriation. But it wasn’t fake dreads that upset users this year–it was head wraps.
