Alessia Cara shared a new music video for the opening track, “Seventeen,” off of her 2015 debut album. The video brings the song’s theme—the fast pace of growing up—to life and shows Alessia transitioning into different stages of adulthood while on a bus. One moment stands out as Alessia, elegantly dressed, holds onto a Grammy. She explains the scene in a way that exposes her ambitions and declares the permanence of her music career.
She went on to give more details and thoughts on the video in a description posted by Vevo. “It’s a personal song and video for me (starring my family and friends, as usual) and I’m excited it’s finally out for u guys to see,” she writes. “Hope it’ll remind u to enjoy all the little moments in life, especially this time of year. Thank u for making mine that much more special. Happy holidays & enjoy the video.”

Zendaya has scored the October cover for Seventeen Magazine. In some leaked photos, the actress has been spotted in polka dots on the new issue’s cover. But one cover apparently isn’t enough to capture the full range of style that Zendaya can bring. She also appears on three alternative covers for the magazine’s annual “Social Media” issue.
The cover and some shots from the spread were leaked on Twitter and Snapchat by stylist and Creative Director Elco Frebliaman.

Hailee Steinfeld has landed the cover of Seventeen magazine and the actress reveals that before she was attending the Academy Awards and hanging out with Taylor Swift, she was getting bullied. “There was a period of time where every morning at 7:02, I’d get a prank phone call at my house. That’s how I’d start every day, with a threat saying, ‘Come to school now. We’re going to kick your butt.'” she says.
Shawn Mendes covers the June/July 2016 issue of Seventeen and the singer discusses how he is able to stay humble after his recent success. “It’s hard for me to just say, ‘Wow, this is amazing — I’m famous. I’m living the dream,'” he says. “I sit there and think, I’m scared — this can go away tomorrow.”
The Canadian 17 year old has no plans of ending up like some of his equally famous contemporaries, because Shawn admits drugs “scare the s*** out of me.” He adds, “I have a thing where if I’m not in control, I feel the whole world is about to collapse. So it’s just not worth it.”
Shawn’s full Seventeen interview will be out next week.
