Ariana Grande and Victoria Monet Flex and Tease on New Single “Monopoly”

Ariana Grande MonopolyAriana Grande and BFF Victoria Monet dropped a new single today called “Monopoly.” On the one hand, it is a kind of a rapper-like flex that points out just how much Ariana is dominating the pop world, “collecting checks” and dominating the “game” … as if it were a game of Monopoly.

On the other hand, the accompanying video — reportedly co-directed by Ariana’s bestie Alfredo Flores and Ariana’s ex Ricky Alvarez — is more of a tongue in cheek, emoji-filled parody of the type of video clips Ariana likes to post to her Instagram Stories. In fact, it seems so much like an inside joke that Continue Reading →

Ariana Grande Performs Unreleased Trap-Inspired Collab with Victoria Monet: “She Got Her Own”

Ariana Grande UnreleasedCould Ariana Grande already be showcasing singles for her next album?

At her Sweetener World Tour concert at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. earlier tonight, Ariana Grande took the stage with frequent collaborator Victoria Monet to perform an as-yet unreleased song. The single, which appears from the chorus to be named “She Got her Own,” is a bouncy, trap-inspired track that features both Ariana and Victoria on alternating vocals.

From the sound of the song, it appears similar to a track that Ariana teased not long ago in a snippet on her Instagram Stories. You can check out Ariana and Victoria performing the song live in the videos below.

Ariana Grande Replaces Little Mix With Another Dangerous Woman For Her European Tour

Ariana Grande Replaces Little Mix With Another Dangerous Woman For Her European Tour featureAriana Grande is ready to head to Europe with her “Dangerous Woman Tour,” but she’s making a slight change to the show’s lineup for the overseas dates. Victoria Monét is staying on as an opener. But as Little Mix prepares for its own headlining Euro tour, the group’s spot as an opener for Ari has been filled. While the replacement may lack the star power of the U.K. girl group, she seems poised to get Ariana into some serious backstage antics.

Perico Princess, a.k.a. BIA, is the new addition to the “Dangerous Woman Tour” roster. The rapper/singer/songwriter made her name on the Oxygen Network’s “Sisterhood of Hip Hop” and now she’s set to bring sisterhood to Ariana’s tour–along with some rollerblades. Ari, Perico and Victoria were all going back and forth in some rapid fire tweets following the announcement. The trio seems destined to have some good times as they tour Europe.

See their tweets below. Check out Ariana’s European tour dates here.

Ariana Grande Lends Voice To #BlackLivesMatter Tribute Collaboration

Ariana_Grande_Lends_Voice_To_BlackLivesMatter_Trib-bsplineAs the world reels in the wake of a string of civilian and police shootings, social media is chock full with opinions, questions and heartbreaking revelations. Celebrities continue to speak out on the tragic deaths of Alton Sterling, Philando Castile, Alva Braziel and the police officers in Dallas.

While some pen personal notes of encouragement, others are using their talents to send out a message to the world. Ariana Grande has teamed up with singer Victoria Monet to release “Better Days,” a song the two are using to honor those lost this past week.

“During this challenging time, we have to remember that the only way we will progress is if the overruling force is #Love,” Ariana captioned the song announcement on Instagram.
