Miley Cyrus brought her new song to the stage for the first time on Saturday. The singer’s love song for Liam Hemsworth got the crowd going as the audience was the first group to hear it performed live. Miley wore a beach-ready look with cut-off shorts and a tank top. Miley also proved she’s out to assert her country roots with a cover of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” and pulled from her own musical past with “We Can’t Stop.” Aside from her own quick set on stage, Miley also had a few chances to support some of her favorites at the festival.
Miley sang along with her sister Noah Cyrus in her latest performance. She apparently got to wish her mom, Tish Cyrus, a very happy birthday alongside her sister, too. Miley was also joined by Katy Perry for a little “Malibu” promo.

Miley Cyrus’s musical resurgence is picking up steam. Ryan Seacreast announced live on the radio Friday morning that Miley is joining a star-studded lineup for the 2017 Wango Tango Festival. Billed as a a “Special Guest Performance,” Miley is joining the likes of Katy Perry, Camila Cabello and her younger sister, Noah Cyrus.
So far, Miley’s musical 2017 has included a collaboration with The Flaming Lips, but not much else. She’s got until May 16 to make something new for her performance. But maybe she’ll just be joining one of the other performers on stage?
“Cyrus vs. Cyrus” may be mama Tish Cyrus’ new TV show, but could “Cyrus + Cyrus” be coming to Wango Tango?

The lineup for this year’s Wango Tango has been announced and Camila Cabello will be returning. This time, however, Fifth Harmony won’t be joining her. Camila couldn’t contain her excitement after the news broke and she took to Twitter to lay it all on the table. Not having her girl band safety net perform with her like last year, Camila is left feeling equal parts excited and nervous.
