Samsung launched the new tablet series with Galaxy Tab A. There are two models available in this series, i.e. Galaxy Tab A 8-inch and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 inch (with 4G and 3G variants each). Both these tablets comes out of the box with Android 5.0 lollipop OS and are powered with 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. They have 16GB internal storage memory which can be expanded upto 128GB using microSD card. We also get 5 Megapixel rear camera and a 2 Megapixel camera at front-facing on both tablets. So far they look mid ranged but are good in connectivity with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+ (Optional) ,WiFi a/b/g/n, GPS + GLONASS and Bluetooth 4.0.
What makes them different? They are different in 3 aspects, that are Screen sizes, RAM and battery. Galaxy Tab A 8-inch and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 inch respectively sports 8-inch (1024×768) 4:3 display and 9.7-inch (1024×768) 4:3 display. They are powered with 1.5GB RAM and 2GB RAM. While the battery they are running on are 4,200mAh and 6000mAh respectively. Talking about prices, Galaxy Tab A 8-inch will start from Rs. 17,000 approximately while Galaxy Tab A 9.7 inch will start at Rs. 21,000 approximately.
