At the present, BFG 9000 is only available in the Deluxe Edition and Collector’s Edition; it is not available for free. There are chances it might get released for DLCs in future but for now, if you haven’t have Deluxe or Collector’s Edition then you are not going to get the legendary BFG.

- Select Rage 2 main menu and go to settings.
- Select bethesda.net and login with your Bethesda account and link it to your Rage 2.
- Now, restart the game.
After purchasing either the Deluxe or the Collector’s Edition and linking your Bethesda account to Rage 2 game, you are done with the half of the process to get the BFG. Now, you will have to find the BFG 9000 by completing the tutorial mission in the game.
At this time, note that the legendary weapon is very easier to miss and also you will not get any notification or clue in the game to find the weapon. Hence, you have to be very alert to get your hands on the BFG.
You will be able to find the BFG in the large craters in the starting place of the game i.e. Vineland. Head towards the north of the Vineland and turn right up towards the hill. Keep your eyes on a falling meteor on the hill, you will find there a lot of rubble which will contain the BFG 9000 ready for taking.
