Demi Lovato is shining while posing for the cover of Harper’s Bazaar May issue. This is a big interview for Demi because she hasn’t been in media much for the last two years, and this is her long-awaited comeback.
Lovato is ready for a new start, preparing her new album and changing some things in her life. In her interview, the 27-year-old talked about friendships and relationships, and also about her recovery.
The topic that is interesting to many is where she stands with her childhood best friend, Selena Gomez.
Two years ago, when Demi was hospitalized, Selena posted an Instagram story saying: “I wish there were words to describe how beautiful, inspirational, and DESERVED this moment was. Demi, I’m so happy for you. Thank you for your courage and bravery.”
This is what Lovato said about the famous post: “When you grow up with somebody, you’re always going to have love for them. But I’m not friends with her, so it felt …” she stopped the sentence, and then added: “I will always have love for her, and I wish everybody nothing but the best.”
The hitmaker then talked about her friendship with Miley Cyrus and said:
“I talk to Miley. She’s awesome, and I love her to death and always will, always have. But I think she’s kind of the only one from that era that I still stay in touch with.”
