If a user wants to factory reset their device, they have to put their Google’s account login to factory reset the device. This feature will only work if the passcode is enabled on the device. If you want to activate this feature, you can activate this as this feature is a part of opt-in factory reset protection. The new devices will have encryption auto enabled by default which will allow users to protect their data if their phone is lost or theft. This feature was just announced last month and Apple has come up with a new feature like this, we still don’t have much information on this feature but soon will be updated when we will put more lights on this.

Google said, users will get an Android Smart Lock feature that will secure the device that a person is using by pairing their device to a wearable or even a car. More security options on the Android 5.0 Lollipop includes the SELinux that allows the apps on the device to have better protection from the malwares or other kind of vulnerabilities.
