After being in rumors as Galaxy Grand On and Galaxy Mega On, finally both the devices today went official as Samsung Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 in China. The devices got listed today on Samsung official China website showing specifications and design. Looks promising by the way. These seems to be mid ranged smartphones at competitive budget price but with great design.
Samsung Galaxy On5 is said to be running on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Dual Micro SIM support featuring 5 inch HD display offering 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Samsung has powered Galaxy On5 with 1.3 GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor paired up with 1.5GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. It comes with 8GB internal storage supporting 128GB microSD card. It brings in 8 Megapixel rear shooter and a 5 Megapixel front facing selfie camera.
Samsung Galaxy On7 is the bigger variant featuring 5.5 inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The phone is powered up with 1.2 GHz quad-core processor coupled up with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage memory. This can be further expanded up to 128GB using microSD card. The camera department has 13 Megapixel at rear facing and a 5 Megapixel at front-facing.
As of now there is no information available about the global roll out or pricing of these smartphones but we do know that Galaxy On5 will come in Black and Gold colors, while the Galaxy On7 will be available in White and Gold colors.
